On December 19, 20 and
21 the market will offer patrons the chance to win gifts every hour - on
the hour from 10 AM to 3 PM. See the vendor memo
regarding this event. Giveaways will be publicized in Hometown News,
Pennysaver and News Journal, as well as on-campus signage. |

Giveaways |
Every year, the market
offers our patrons a chance to win gifts. This year, we will be
promoting give-aways of 3 different baskets and 3 turkeys. On
Saturday November 22nd, we'll offer free raffle tickets and pull six
winners Saturday afternoon. This event will be marketed in our local
newspapers. |
| Canned Food Drive 2008 |
A-1 Caps and Butcher's
Nursery announce a canned food drive to take place the last two
weekends before Thanksgiving. On Nov 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23,
shoppers and vendors are encouraged to bring canned goods to row
A-1. Donated items will be stockpiled and distributed to persons in
need before Thanksgiving.

Vendor Ties the Knot in the E2 Building! |
Jim and Bev (of Jim's
Collectables) were married at the Market on Saturday, September 13.
The ceremony and buffet luncheon reception were held in the E2
building, with over 30 friends attending. Bev was lovely in a navy
blue dress and white jacket. She carried a nosegay of white daisies
and red carnations. Congratulations and best wishes to Jim and
Bev from Lynn & Denise at The Healthy Gourmet - and The staff at the
Daytona Flea Market

The official dates for Biketoberfest
are:
Thursday Oct 16 through Sunday Oct 19th.
The market will not be open on Thursday, except for
Biketoberfest vendors.

Doggie Idol |
Doggie
Idol 2007 was a great success in the spring of '07 with a stream of 300
spectators and almost 40 contest entries. We've moved this event to
cooler weather and hope to expand it's appeal. The event includes a
generous (free) raffle for all participants, category contests for dogs -
including talent, presentation, behavior, appearance & some fun
wild-card placements. We will be incorporating the non-profit ARNI
foundation in this event, as well as Second Chance Rescue. The goal
is to bring people to the market, but also communicate the awareness of
the adoptable animals here in Volusia County.
If you would like to take part by donating an item or items to
the raffle, please email or
stop by the Information Station. FYI - Donators will get perks, like
PA plugs and placement in advertising when timely. |

The VW Club
returns on Saturday, Sept 27th! This re-curring event adds to market
traffic and brings regional VW enthusiasts together to show off their
cars. |

collect enters you in drawings for Flea Bucks. Enjoy children's give-aways,
